“I’m a big believer in that if you focus on good skincare, you really won’t need a lot of make-up”
– Demi Moore
So, I am back again with a new hack to keep up your skin glow without even drying your skin too much. Today I will be providing you with the details of a Tomato Olive Oil Mask, which I recently found out after some short experimentation at home. Tomato is a very good exfoliator and helps to reduce acne problems whereas olive oil doesn’t allow your skin to dry up and get wrinkled because winter as you know is a very dry season!
Tomatoes have multi-utilities from helping us maintaining an internal milieu, to helping us in improving our beauty. Some of the mention-worthy utilities of tomatoes are-
-They are a very good source of antioxidants because they contain Vitamin A and Vitamin C.which helps to detox our blood from the harmful free radicals.
-They contain beta carotene which is good for our eyes.
-They help to reduce the risk of kidney stones.
-They help to reduce the cholesterol level in our blood thereby reducing the risk of heart diseases.
-They are also known to have anti-cancer abilities.
-They provide a good shine to our hairs being rich in Vitamin A and are also known to be good for our skins.
-They contain a considerable amount of calcium and phosphorus which is good for our bones.
To prepare a tomato olive oil mask you need to follow these steps consecutively-
1. At first cleanse your face properly with milk or any other cleanser of your choice which would clean up all the pores in your skin too.
2. Blend some tomatoes to prepare 2 tbsp of tomato puree.
3. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to it.
4. Mix up the olive oil well with the tomato puree and massage it onto your face for 10 minutes.
5. Leave it to dry for about 5 minutes or so.
6. Wash off the mask with lukewarm water either directly or by the use of a towel.
Thats it, and Hola! You’re done with theTomato Olive Oil Mask. Notice the change in your face after removing the mask, like I did! I am attaching some of the pictures of my experimentation with the Tomato Olive Oil Mask.
